Integrating Scoro with QuickBooks allows you to view all your invoices and bills in Scoro. You can run reports, view financial data about your customers and projects, and display important metrics on your dashboard. Also, the invoices issued with Scoro can be synced to QuickBooks.
Note! The integration works with QuickBooks online version only.
How QuickBooks integration works
Integration with QuickBooks works both ways and can be set as manual or automatic. You need to configure, which data you would like to synchronize. If your Scoro site has multiple entities, you can now connect each account to a different QuickBooks account.
What is synced
- Chart of Accounts – Finance Accounts in Scoro. Chart of Accounts is pulled from QuickBooks after the connection is created. All changes made in QuickBooks will be synced to Scoro. Read-only in Scoro.
- Tax Codes – Pulled from QuickBooks when the connection with Scoro site is created. All tax code changes made in QuickBooks are synced to Scoro. Tax codes are read-only in Scoro.
- Suppliers/Customers – Suppliers/Customers can be synced in both directions but only one way at a time. Depending on the configuration, contacts can be synced separately, or only when a contact is associated with an invoice or an expense.
- Items/Products – Products can be synced in both directions but only one way at a time. Depending on the configuration, products can be synced with documents or on their own.
- Projects – Projects can be synced only from QuickBooks to Scoro.
- Invoices – Invoices can be synced in both directions but only one way at a time. Credit notes created in Scoro will be synced to QuickBooks as part of the invoices synchronization.
- Bills – Bills can be synced in both directions but only one way at a time.
- Credit Notes – Credit notes created in Scoro will be synced to QuickBooks as part of the invoices synchronization.
- Payments/Receipts – Payments can be synced in both directions but only one way at a time.
- Classes - Classes are pulled from QuickBooks after the Classes sync is turned on. All changes made in QuickBooks will be synced to Scoro. Classes are read-only in Scoro.
