In Scoro’s Customer portal, you can easily collaborate with your business partner on their Scoro site. This saves you the trouble of back-and-forth communication, exchanging countless emails, organizing frequent catch-ups, and so on. You can effortlessly work together on projects and conveniently see important information related to your company and projects.
This article will guide you through the process of joining and accessing your business partner's Customer portal, managing your portal settings and notifications, and accessing projects and sales documents.

1. Accepting the invitation and accessing the Customer portal
The Customer portal can be accessed by invitation only.
Once the administrator of the specific Scoro site has sent you an invitation to their Customer portal, you can activate your portal account:
- Click the link in the invitation email you received to activate your Customer portal account. The activation link is active for 7 days.
- Your name and email will already be pre-filled. Modify your first and last name if needed, tick the checkbox to agree to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, and click Next.
- Enter your job title and upload your profile image, then click Next. If you wish, you can skip this step and upload your image on your portal settings at a later time.
- Lastly, you'll see an overview of the Customer portal modules you can access. Depending on your permissions, you may have access to the projects and sales documents related to your company. Click the blue Start using Scoro button to finish your account activation.
After you've activated your Customer portal account, save the Customer portal URL as a bookmark for easier access later on. You can always access the portal via the link included in the invitation email.
2. Managing your portal settings
To get started, we recommend checking your Customer portal settings – click the Settings button and select Go to Settings Panel.
You can manage the following portal settings:
- Profile settings let you can add a photo of yourself, so it’s easier to differentiate users in the project detailed view, for example, and add or change your job title. Here you can also renew your password if needed.
- Preferences allow you to change your site language, your preferred currency, and date-time format.
- Menu settings enable you to adjust the order of features on the site header. Just drag and drop to rearrange.
- Bookmarks show all your bookmarked (saved) views in one list. In different views, you can use various filters to adjust your list, then bookmark the filtered list to return to it whenever needed without having to filter it all over again. Read more about using filters in Scoro.
3. Viewing your projects and sales documents
Click on the modules in the header of the site, such as Projects, Quotes, and others, to see all the projects and sales documents you have access to.
Note! If you believe you can't access some some or any of the features you should be able to, reach out to your business partner that invited you to the portal and ask them to review your permissions.
Use the filters to see exactly the data you need at a glance.
Save your favorite filtered list views as bookmarks. You can quickly access your bookmarks from the header menu by clicking the bookmarks icon.
Click on the project name to open the project detailed view and view all the information related to that project.
Here's what you can see in the project detailed view:

Project header shows the progress bar, project manager and project members, and the estimated project start and end dates.

Tasks tab has multiple sub-tabs:

Task list shows all tasks under this project.

Gantt chart

Calendar shows all the project events.

Task list shows all tasks under this project.

Time tab lists all completed tasks and activities and the time spent on them.

Finances tab contains all quotes, orders, and invoices linked to that project. Click on the name of the document to view it and download it as a PDF.
You can also hover on the status of the invoice to see whether it has been paid. -
Details tab contains project info, files, and documents linked to the project. Click on the relevant file name to open and, if needed, download the file.

Comments tab shows all comments related to the project. Click on Add comment to add a new comment or Reply or Reply all buttons to reply to comments you were tagged in.
Click the Notify button or tag users by using the @ sign to notify them about your comment.
Whenever you're notified in Scoro, the notifications bell icon will show a red indicator. Click on the icon to view all your notifications and mark them as read or click on the title of the notification to open it.
