Scoro’s real-time time-off report provides a clear overview of your team’s scheduled time off and helps you:
- identify any overlaps with existing projects so you can re-plan timely if needed
- detect potential border issues like burnout and imbalanced workloads based on historical data.
You’ll find it in Reports > Work > Time-off report.

1. How to enable the time-off report
Users need permission to view the time-off report. Here’s how to enable it:
- Go to Settings > Administration > Permission sets
- Choose the permission set you want to update and open the Modules and actions
- Scroll down to the Reports section and tick the View time-off report checkbox
Users with this particular permission set can now access the revenue report in the Reports module under Reports > Work > Time-off report.
2. How to read the time-off report
The time-off report is based on time-off and extra availability entries your team adds in Scoro, as well as data synced from BambooHR and Google Calendar (if those integrations are set up).
2.1. Filtering and sorting time-off data
By default, the report displays all time-off entries for all your site users during the current year, but you can filter your view using the user, role, and entry type filters.
You can sort the report table data by users, roles, and other columns by clicking on the column title.
Pro tip! Save your frequently used views as bookmarks for quicker access!
2.2. Viewing time-off details
Click on the user to see all their entries and details. The time off synced from BambooHR and Google Calendar can be recognized by the respective icons.
Below the table, you’ll find the total number of users that have time off during the filtered period, as well as the total time off and extra availability duration.
2.3. Identifying overlaps with existing projects
If you use bookings on your site, the time-off report also indicates when someone’s time off overlaps with any bookings. This makes it easy for Resource and Project Managers to know that some replanning may be required to deliver the work on time and avoid resource conflicts.
If any of the user’s time-off entries overlap with bookings in a project, you’ll see an orange briefcase icon in the Overlapping projects column.
To see exact projects that overlap with time off, click on the briefcase icon on the user’s row or expand the user’s entries and click on the icon there.
Click on the project name to open the Bookings tab and make the necessary adjustments.
The overlapping projects breakdown will display Private if the team member's time off overlaps with a personal project or a work-related project that's visible only to its members.
2.4. Modifying time-off
If you have permission to modify time-off entries for yourself and others, you can hover over an entry and click the pencil icon to edit them directly in the report.
