Most list views, modules, and reports in Scoro can be filtered and customized to show the data you need and declutter views of data points that aren't relevant to you. You can save your favorite filtered views as bookmarks or as the default view whenever you open that list, module, or report.
This article describes the general logic for using filters, view options, and sorting in list views, modules, and reports in Scoro.

1. Filters
You can use filters in various views in Scoro:
- in list views
- in reports
- in almost all Scoro modules – the Bookings module, Pipeline, Planner, etc.
The primary filters most relevant to the view you've opened are always visible directly in the view, but you can click the Filters button to uncover additional filter options.
For more detailed information on using filters in a specific module, report, or list view, see the dedicated Help Center article for that view.
1.1. Grouping options
Some list views, reports, and modules have grouping options, which let you group the data in that view based on your preferred data type.
Some reports – for example, the detailed financial report and detailed work report – even have two grouping options, allowing you to apply primary and secondary grouping to the filtered data. For example, in the detailed work report, you can group the list by projects and also tasks/events to see all activities related to different projects in the selected period.
1.2. Ignoring filters while searching for data
If you've filtered a certain view but then need to search for particular items that would fall outside the filtered view, you can click the Ignore filters button (the funnel icon) on the left of the search bar to ignore the filters and search the full record database in that particular view. For example, in the contacts list, if you have a default view or a bookmark active, but wish to search for a certain contact in your site, you can use the Ignore filters button. This way, Scoro will search among all contacts found in Scoro, not only among the ones filtered out.
2. Sorting the data
You can also sort the list by different columns by clicking the column name. Click it again to change the sorting direction. There is no way to cancel or undo the sorting – you can just sort the view by the column that makes sense for the view you want to see.
Note! Not all columns are clickable for sorting – only those that turn red when you hover over them are.
3. View options
Like filters, almost all list views, reports, and modules also have view options that let you fully customize what data is displayed and whether it's summarized. To access the view options, click the View button and select the necessary customization options:
3.1. Data columns
To customize the data columns displayed in a list view or a report:
- Click the View button, then select Data columns.
- Enable the checkboxes for the data you want to display. Drag and drop the items to rearrange them as needed, and click Display to apply the changes.
Note! Dragging and dropping the data columns to rearrange them works in all list views in Scoro except for the task list.
3.2. Summary bar
Some list views and reports in Scoro also let you enable a summary bar. It displays metrics of your choice, so that you can get a quick overview of the essential metrics at a glance.
The summary bar in the project detailed view includes additional features, such as metric watchdogs and trend lines. Check the dedicated article Using the summary bar to monitor a project's progress to learn more.
Note! The summary bar isn't available in the revenue report, utilization report, pipeline report, and the financial summary report.
To enable a summary bar in a list view or report:
- Click the View button and select Summary bar.
- Enable the checkbox for the metrics of your choice, drag and drop the metrics to rearrange them as needed (if the view allows it), and click Display to apply the changes.
Note!
- In the summary bar, you can also display columns that are not enabled as data columns in your list view.
- You can also summarize and display custom fields in the summary bar.
- Not all Scoro reports have the option to add a summary bar. For more information, see the dedicated Help Center article for that report.
To remove the summary bar from the view:
- Click the View button and select Summary bar.
- Disable all selected metrics and click Display.
