The E-mail settings page under Settings > My settings > E-mail allows you to set up your e-mail and create e-mail templates.
Note! To send out emails from Scoro, please ensure that your user account is set up with SMTP settings, that allow you to send out emails from Scoro by using your email account server. Read more about the SMTP setup.
1. CC and BCC for email copies
If needed, you can enter email addresses in the CC and BCC fields to which you want to send a copy of the email.
2. E-mail templates
By creating your own e-mail templates, you can save time, as you don't need to create every e-mail from scratch when sending out different documents from Scoro.
When setting up the e-mail templates, use dynamic fields to easily add the information available in Scoro. These fields take their data from the system and change accordingly. For example, you can add the invoice number in the template for invoice emails so the system always includes it in the e-mail when sending an invoice.
When creating the e-mail template, you can customize the email body; you'll be able to change the email subject while composing your email. Even with the e-mail templates set up, you can always modify the email content before sending it out.
You can send the PDF documents from Scoro in two ways:
- By clicking the Send button in the document detailed view (for example, from the quote detailed view)
- By clicking the Send button in the list view (for example, the quotes list)
- By clicking Quick actions > New email button in the menu
When composing the email, you can select a contact, add CC and BCC, fill out the email subject and body fields, and add attachments.
You can save the email as a draft and come back to it later. All your email drafts can be found under Reports > Sent items. The Sent items log includes all emails sent out from your or other user accounts.
Note! While you can send e-mails from Scoro, replies to the emails you sent from Scoro are not stored in Scoro. To view your correspondence, check your mailbox or use your smart inbox, which is automatically created for every Scoro user.
3. Signatures
Customize your signature content in the text editor on the left and click the Preview button to see how your signature will look. Use dynamic fields to automatically pull certain data from Scoro, such as the company name, address, contact details, and more.
