Go to Settings > My settings > E-mail to set up your e-mail and create e-mail templates.
If you also wish to see sent e-mails (in addition to the reports) in your e-mail server, use the SMTP option under the Profile settings. Read more about the SMTP setup.
This is also useful for minimizing the chance of sent emails being qualified as spam. You can use the BCC field and add the e-mail address where you want to send a copy of the email.
In addition, you can use standard templates to save time by not creating every e-mail from scratch, when sending out different documents from Scoro. You can always modify the contents of the email body before sending it out.
When setting up the templates, use dynamic fields to easily add the information available in Scoro. These fields take their data from the system and change accordingly. For example, you can add the invoice number in the template for invoice e-mails so the system always includes the invoice number in the e-mail when sending an invoice.
Use dynamic fields also when creating your signature to make your life easier. When you have entered your details to Scoro, these dynamic fields fetch that information automatically from the system. First, click on the dynamic fields (e.g. #name#) to add them, and then click on the Preview button to see what they'll look like.
In addition to sending PDF-documents from Scoro (by pushing the Send button in the relevant document detailed view, or using the list view), you can quickly compile and send emails using Quick actions on your site header.
Just click on the Quick actions icon, then select the option New email.
Select a contact, fill out the subject and the body of the email, then click Send.
You can also save the email as a draft and come back to it later. You can find all your email drafts under Reports > Sent items. You can also use filters there to filter out email drafts.
! While you can send e-mails from Scoro, replies are not stored on the platform. To view your correspondence, check your mailbox.
