With the HubSpot and Scoro integration, you can manage your sales activities in HubSpot and automatically sync your deals to Scoro as quotes to build detailed price proposals, create projects, and track their performance. Company and contact data can also be synced between both systems.
The connection between HubSpot and Scoro is established in HubSpot, as this is not a native Scoro integration.
Once connected, you can set up one-way (to or from Scoro) or two-way synchronization of your company, contact, and deal data, fully controlling how these details are maintained on both sides.
Note!
- To check if the integration is compatible with your HubSpot plan, log in to your HubSpot account and check the Requirements section on the Scoro integration page in HubSpot's App Marketplace.
- The integration is available for any Scoro pricing package; however, the number of API calls is limited for each package. Go to Settings > Integrations > Scoro API to see the number of API calls made.
This article explains how to connect HubSpot with Scoro and set up the company, contact, and deal synchronization settings.

1. Connecting HubSpot with Scoro
Note! The connection between both systems is established in HubSpot, as it's not a native Scoro integration. Your HubSpot account's super admin or another user with the App Marketplace permissions should set up the integration.
To connect HubSpot with Scoro, you'll need to complete two steps.
Step 1: Request an API key from Scoro
As the connection between both systems is established via API, you need to request an API key by contacting our Support team via our contact form.
Our team will let you know when the API key is activated. You can access the API credentials in Scoro under Settings > Integrations > Scoro API and proceed with the next step.
Step 2: Connect Hubspot with Scoro
To connect Scoro with your HubSpot account:
- Go to the Scoro integration page in HubSpot's App Marketplace and click Install app.
- Click Next and fill in your Scoro site details:
- Subdomain - this can be found on your Scoro site link, e.g., yoursitename.scoro.com
- API key and Company Account ID - these can be found in Scoro under Settings > Integrations > Scoro API. If you have multiple entities, select the Company Account ID for the entity you want to integrate with HubSpot.
- Click Connect to Scoro.
2. Configuring the sync settings
After you've successfully connected both platforms, you can click Set up sync and start configuring how you want the company, people, and quote data to be synced between the two platforms. HubSpot will ask you to select an object to sync first, and you can sync the rest of the objects later one by one.
2.1. Syncing companies and contacts
Note! In this section, we'll show how to set up the company synchronization as an example, but the contacts sync setup works the same way.
To set up your company data synchronization:
- Choose Company sync.
- In the Configure step:
- Select the sync direction to or from Scoro to HubSpot.
- Select from the dropdown whether you'd like to use Scoro or HubSpot data to resolve data conflicts. Such conflicts typically may happen during the initial data sync. If there are none, HubSpot will use your field mapping rules to decide what data to sync.
- The HubSpot and Scoro fields are already mapped by default; however, you can modify the way they're mapped and create custom fields if needed and if your HubSpot plan supports it.
- Click Next to proceed to the Limit step. Here, you can set up limitations for the data synchronization if necessary. You can also choose whether to create new companies during the sync or only update the existing ones.
- Click Next, review the settings, and click Save and sync. to start the initial company data sync.
The initial company data sync will now start. Once completed, the In sync and Failing columns will show the number of companies that synced successfully or failed to sync. Click on the numbers to view a list of the companies.
After the initial sync, HubSpot will listen for changes in the company data in the background. Once any changes are detected, the data will be automatically updated according to your sync settings.
To set up another data object sync, click Sync more data. Follow the same steps in this section to set up contact sync or see the next section for instructions for syncing deals as quotes.
2.2. Syncing deals as quotes
To set up your HubSpot deal synchronization to Scoro as quotes:
- Select Deal sync from the data object sync screen. If you previously set up both the company and contact sync, you will not see this screen and will go straight to the deal sync settings.
- Map out the fields between HubSpot and Scoro like you did when setting up the company and contact sync.
- Click Next to go to the Limit step. Here, you need to select a HubSpot pipeline and map out the deal statuses between both systems.
If you'd like the field names to match on both sides, you can edit them in Scoro under Settings > Site settings > Statuses. - If needed, you can also set up limitations for the records that will sync from HubSpot to Scoro and vice versa. For example, you can select a specific quote, author, client, or contact person properties as the trigger for the quote sync to HubSpot.
- Click Next, review the settings, and click Save and sync.
The initial deal sync will start. Once completed, the In sync and Failing columns will show the number of deals that synced successfully or failed to sync. Click on the numbers to view more information on the deals.
After the initial sync, HubSpot will listen for changes in the deals in the background. Once any changes are detected, the data will be automatically updated according to your sync settings.
The HubSpot deals synced as quotes in Scoro can be viewed and modified by users with the appropriate permissions. You can manage the permissions under Settings > Administration > Permission sets.
