1. Types of integrations
There are different ways in which Scoro integrates with other platforms:
- Native integrations
- Direct third-party integrations
- Zapier integrations
- AI integrations using the Scoro MCP server
1.1. Native integrations
Native integrations are built and maintained directly by Scoro, providing a direct connection between platforms. These connections are typically the most seamless and can be managed directly within your site under Settings > Site settings > Integrations.
1.2. Direct third-party integrations
Direct third-party integrations are built and maintained by external providers rather than Scoro, such as the HubSpot and Memtime integrations. They have dedicated connection settings and pre-built logic for syncing data between systems. Third-party integration setup typically happens outside Scoro.
Note! As the direct third-party integrations are not developed by Scoro, please report any issues and suggestions for integration improvements to the relevant third-party support team.
1.3. Zapier integrations
Zapier is a platform that acts as a bridge between Scoro and over 6,000 other applications. It is used to create custom automated workflows when a native or direct third-party integration is not available. For example, you can use Zapier to connect Scoro to tools like Google Ads, Zoom, Mailchimp, and many, many more.
To confirm if a tool can be integrated, visit Scoro Marketplace or Zapier's integration page.
Learn more about the Zapier integration.
1.4. AI integrations via Scoro MCP server
Scoro MCP server lets you securely connect your site to your favorite AI tools, such as Claude and ChatGPT, so you can manage Scoro projects, tasks, and data via an external AI chat.
This opens up a new world of possibilities for your business – you can use simple, natural language prompts to pull data from Scoro, create or modify projects, tasks, contacts, comments, etc. in Scoro, or even orchestrate workflows across multiple tools and apps, all directly from an AI chat of your choice.
Learn more about the possibilities the Scoro MCP server can unlock for your team by visiting our Scoro MCP server overview page and the dedicated Help Center article.
2. Finding integrations in the Scoro Marketplace
Scoro Marketplace is the primary source of truth for all available integrations and is updated regularly as new connections are added. The integrations are grouped in categories – such as Accounting & Finance, Business Intelligence, Payments, Marketing & Sales, and more –, allowing you to explore available solutions tailored to your specific business needs.
Additionally, you can use the built-in search bar to quickly confirm if a specific software tool you use can be integrated with Scoro.
3. Integration availability by plan
Certain native Scoro integrations are available only on certain Scoro plans. To confirm whether a certain integration is available for your Scoro plan, you can check the following:
- Features comparison table on our Plans & Pricing page
- Dedicated Help Center article for that integration – you'll find all integration-related articles in our Help Center's Integrations section.
Note! If your current plan does not support a specific integration, it may not be visible under Settings > Site settings > Integrations.
4. Integration access and permissions
Access to integration settings is determined by your user role and the specific type of integration.
4.1 Site administrator access
Most of our native integrations affect the entire Scoro site. Such global integrations can be enabled and managed only by site administrators with the Modify site settings permission for their permission set.
Users without the Modify site settings permission will be able to access only the user-level integrations.
Learn more about permission sets.
Can site administrators manage the calendar integrations centrally?
If you plan to integrate Scoro with Google Calendar and manage the integration centrally, the site administrator must complete the initial setup steps before other site users can connect their individual accounts. Learn more about:
- Central management of the Google Calendar integration
- Calendar integrations – an overview for admins
Can site admins prevent users from managing the user-level access integrations?
The only way to completely revoke user access to all integrations, including user-level integrations, like calendar integrations, is to disable all permissions under the Settings section for the specific permission set. However, this will also prevent users from accessing their personal account settings under Settings > My settings. Learn more about my settings and site settings.
4.2 User-level access
While most native Scoro integrations can be managed only by site admins, all users can still individually set up calendar integrations for their own accounts. This can be done under Settings > Site settings > Integrations for the following external calendar providers:
Note! You may notice that some integrations have a lock icon – this means that the particular integration can only be managed by a site administrator.
5. Setting up a native integration
The general process for setting up a native integration usually follows these steps:
- Navigate to Settings > Site settings > Integrations.
- Locate the tool you wish to connect from the list.
- Click on the tool name to open its specific settings page.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to authorize the connection between Scoro and the external tool.
- Configure your synchronization preferences, such as choosing which data types should sync and the direction of the sync.
We have detailed, step-by-step instructions for every native Scoro integration – you'll find them in the Integrations section of our Help Center.
