The dashboard is ideal for tracking a selection of your site's most important data in one place. You can add literally anything you want to keep an eye on to your dashboard.
Use widgets to display a list of active projects, clients in debt, etc. Result metrics allow you to display numeric data, for example, project cost, outstanding invoices, sum of weekly quotes, etc. Also, you can use ratio metrics to calculate the ratio between two important results. Charts are for... well, charts.
Now go to your dashboard and start customizing it!
Modifying your dashboard
If you already have a dashboard and want to modify it, follow the steps below.
Click on the Configure button.
Choose, whether you wish to modify the existing dashboard (click on Dashboard options to rename), create a new one (click New dashboard), or Duplicate current dashboard if you like the way it looks, but don't want to make changes to the original one. You can also delete the dashboard if needed.
Just drag and drop the dashlets around on your dashboard to rearrange them the way you see fit.
Easily change their size by dragging them bigger or smaller from the lower right corner.
To modify an existing dashlet on your dashboard, just click on the Settings icon on the dashlet.
Adding a dashlet
If your dashboard is brand new and empty, you can start by adding some dashlets. Just click on the Add to dashboard button.
Note! If the +Add to dashboard isn't available to you, it's most likely because you've either reached the limit of 36 dashlets or the dashboard is owned by another user.
If you use another user's dashboard but want to add another metric to it, you need to duplicate the current dashboard, and then you can add a new dashlet to the duplicate that will be owned by you:
Click on the dashlet option, let's say the Result metric, to add one.
Now select between the options given:
- Browse bookmarks library and pick one of our preset bookmarks.
- Choose from bookmark – allows you to choose between the existing bookmarks on your Scoro site.
- Create new result metric – create a brand new custom metric from scratch.
Let's choose the option Create new result metric.
Choose a source for your metric (we've chosen Invoices) and use the relevant filters to find exactly the results important to you.
Now type in a title for your bookmark and choose the Info to display.
The important part is to set a benchmark for your metric. You can either add a goal or a limit and a benchmark number that your result is compared to. This way you'll see right there on your dashboard, whether you're meeting your goals or reaching your limits. Save.
Your saved result metric should look something like this:
Here's an example of a ratio metric, created almost the same way as a result metric:
Ratio metrics show the comparative number of two results. For example, in this case, what was quoted compared to the deals closed.
You can always go back and modify any iof the dashlets on your dashboard, if needed. Just click on the Settings icon on the dashlet.
There can be only one... doesn't really apply here. You can have several dashboards. One for you, another for reports and another one for the sales team, for example.
Just choose if you want to create a new dashboard (by clicking New dashboard) or duplicate the existing one (by clicking Duplicate current dashboard) and just tweak it a little.
Even though creating a new dashboard is quite simple, you can also choose a ready-made dashboard from the library with all the relevant metrics set up for you. Just click New dashboard from library.
Then select the dashboard that suits your needs by clicking on it.
To switch between different dashboards click on the name of the dashboard and select one of the existing ones:
