The Preferences settings page under Settings > My settings > Preferences lets you manage individual settings that affect only your account.
1. General preferences
The General section of the Preferences settings page lets you customize the following settings:

Site language – if your site has multiple languages enabled, you can set your preferred site language.
- Scoro is currently also available in German, French, Spanish, Estonian, Latvian, and Lithuanian. If you are interested in activating any of these languages for your site, please reach out to us via our contact form.
- Default category for new contact – select the contact category to apply by default when you create a new contact (person or company). You can choose either a specific category or the site default.
- Add new person to the client list by default – enable this checkbox if you want to automatically set the new contact you're adding as a client.

Show autofill suggestions – enable this checkbox if you want your browser to propose input suggestions for fields based on values you've previously entered.
- Note! Enabling this setting will affect the performance of Scoro views and screens with many input fields.
2. Date, time, and number preferences
The Date, time and numbers section of the Preferences settings page lets you customize the following settings:
- First day of the week
- Timezone
- Date and time format
- Number format
- CSV file delimeter – choose the delimeter type to apply to CSV export files when you export data from Scoro.
3. Sales and finance preferences
The Sales and finance section of the Preferences settings page lets you customize the following settings:
- Default tax rate for sales – set the tax rate to automatically apply to new sales documents you're creating. You can choose any of your site's tax rates or use the site default.
- Default tax rate for purchases – set the tax rate to automatically apply to new purchase documents you're creating. You can choose any of your site's tax rates or use the site default.
- Display currency – if you want to see a currency other than your site's default currency, use this dropdown field to set your individual display currency preferences. For example, if your site’s default currency is EUR, but you’d like to see all the pricing in AUD, you can select AUD as the display currency in your preferences.
