Web forms let you create inquiries and forms for web pages, such as contact and feedback forms. The contact information received with the filled forms is added to your site's database. You can also automatically link tags and categories to contacts.
This article covers everything you need to know about web forms—how to create and add them to a web page and how to check the web form reports.

1. Creating and customizing a web form
To create a web form, go to Settings > Site settings > Web forms and click the + New button.
The following tabs - General, Fields, Appearance, and Formats - allow you to customize your web form to your liking fully.
1.1. General
In the General tab, you can name your web form and add the following elements:
- Button text – this will be displayed as the name of the button used to send the form
- Introduction – a short description of the web form and how to fill it out
- Message after submitting form – a confirmation or appreciation message that will be shown after the form submission
- Notify by e-mail – enter the email address of the person who will be notified when a form has been submitted
- Account manager – set a user as the manager of the contact in Scoro (if needed)
- Category – client category in Scoro
- Tags – tags in the database, for example field of activity, language, etc.
1.2. Fields
The Fields tab allows you to add additional fields on your web form, such as first or last name, e-mail, phone, and others.
To add a field:
- Click on the dropdown and select a field
- Select whether the field is regular, required, or hidden
- Hidden fields aren't visible to users; they can be used to request info about browsers, operating systems, etc.
- Enter the name of your field.
Repeat the above steps to add more additional fields.
1.3. Appearance
The Appearance tab lets you customize the appearance of your web form.
Click on the color square under the Default option to set the web form background and text color.
For more advanced customization, select the Custom option and copy your web page CSS code into the box to blend the web form nicely with your web page design.
1.4. Formats
In the Format tab, you can set the date, time, and number formats.
2. Adding the web form to a website
When you're finished creating the web form, click Save. You should see your new web form in the web form list. Click on the web form name to view and modify its details.
The General tab contains the iframe code that can be used to add the form to your website.
3. Report
The report gives you information about a web form – who entered data and when, and a link to the related contact in Scoro's database.
To access your web form reports, click the Report button on the web form row to view or go to Reports > Web forms.
