Statuses in Scoro are used to sort and differentiate data across various modules, such as quotes and pipeline, projects, tasks, calendar, and others.
You can customize the statuses for each module to organize your data exactly the way you want and to compile detailed reports.
Note!
- With the Essential plan, you can only modify the system statuses. To create new statuses, you’ll need to upgrade your Scoro pricing plan.
- With the Pro and Ultimate plans, you can customize the system statuses and create up to 20 new statuses for each module. If you’ve maxed out the default 20 statuses but could use additional custom ones, you can buy the Extra statuses add-on to get an extra 10 statuses for each module per each add-on you purchase.
You can access and modify the statuses on your site under Settings > Site settings > Statuses.
This article will show you how to modify, create, delete, and use statuses in Scoro.

1. Modifying statuses
1.1. Modifying the details of statuses
There are different types of details you can customize for any status, as well as custom details for statuses used in specific modules in Scoro.
These are the details you can customize for statuses in every module:
- In use - tick this checkbox to enable the status.
- Status name - enter a distinctive name for the status.
-
Explanation
- You can add a short description to clarify what the status means and how to use it.
- The explanation for the default system status cannot be modified.
- Color - select a color for each status to make it easy to recognize items with different statuses at a glance.
-
In active list
- In various list views in Scoro, such as the quote list and others, you can filter only active items in the Status filter. By default, most lists in the modules in Scoro show only active items.
- All statuses with the In active list checkbox ticked will be considered when filtering the active items in the list view. For example, you can include only a few statuses in active list, and they will be displayed when selecting this filter.

Some modules have additional details that you can customize.
For quote and pipeline statuses, you can also set up the following details:
- Probability - define the closing probability rate for each status or, in other words, each stage in your pipeline.
-
Expires in - enter the number of days before the quote is shown as expired if its status doesn't change. Below is an example of a quote that has expired:
- Successful - quotes with statuses that have the Successful checkbox ticked are displayed in the pipeline, media plan, accounting objects’ report, the project summary table, and the Quoted vs Actual table. Only successful quotes are taken into account when creating a project budget based on quotes because you may issue several quotes to the client, but only some of them get confirmed.
For order statuses, you can tick the Successful checkbox to display orders with those statuses in the supplier report.
Calendar statuses come into play when you’ve integrated external calendars with Scoro. They’re used to map the statuses between the two platforms.
1.2. Changing the order of statuses
To change the order of statuses, just drag and drop them in the correct place. Their order will also change in other views, for example, the status columns in the Pipeline, when changing the order of statuses for quotes.
2. Adding new statuses
Note! Adding new statuses is available only for Pro and Ultimate pricing plans. With the Essential plan, you can only modify the system statuses.
With the Pro and Ultimate plans, you can customize the system statuses and create up to 20 new statuses for each module.
To add a new status:
- Select the module for which you’ll add the new status
- Click + Add another
- Customize the details of the new status as described above
- Click Save.
If you’ve maxed out the default 20 statuses but could use additional custom ones, you can buy the Extra statuses add-on to get an extra 10 statuses for each module per each add-on you purchase.
