If you wish to sell products/services to different clients with different prices and/or currencies, set up price lists under Settings > Sales and finance > Products and services > Price lists.
To see if the Price lists are included in your selected subscription plan, please check out our Pricing table.
You can have several price lists and set one of them as the default one. The default price list is used for all new clients that don't have a specific price list linked to their profile. If the client is linked to a profile with a specific price list, the latter is used.
My default price list can be set if there are many price lists and you mostly use one specific price list. For example, if you only deal with US customers, you can set the US price list as your personal default. To add another price list, click on Add price list, give the list a name and choose the currency. When adding a price list, only the currencies that have been activated under the currency settings are displayed in the Currency dropdown. To add another active currency to your site, go to Settings > Sales and finance > Currencies. To modify the list, click on its name in the list view.
After you've created price lists, you can then link certain products/services with different price lists. This way, when a client is linked to a price list and you create a sales document for that client, the correct prices are automatically filled in for products/services used on the quote. Go to Settings > Sales and finance > Products and services, click on the name of the product to add selling prices used for different price lists.
Once the price list has been added, it is displayed in the sales or purchase document Modify view.
Price lists can be linked to client profiles. In that case, the price list will be selected automatically when a client is selected on a sales document.
Add or modify a client profile and choose the desired price list. Go to Settings > Sales and finance > Client profiles and click on the client type to do that.
